Whole Food Simple Ingredients

I'll be the first to admit that I am not that comfortable in the kitchen, but I have come a long way! I was always looking for a shortcut, not wanting to spend much time with meal prep that comes 3x each day.

The truth however, is that we need to take time to plan and prepare our meals. Not all the time, but some of the time. I make grocery store lists and know how to shop for whole food ingredients. Our meals are usually simple. They always include vegetables. If I don't have time to cook, I am a fan of a good rotisserie chicken and salad. A meal of leftovers is great too. I learned how to make soups and stews and interesting salads.

When you have health issues or you are raising a family, you need to care. We want to feel great and we also need to make sure the next generation knows the importance of prepping and eating healthy food. This is what each generation did for each other, passing down recipes and meal making. 

If I can do this, so can you. Being in charge of your food and making meal prep fun is the key. You need to decide that your food is really important. And then of course, who doesn't enjoy delicious and tasty food?
